Nvidia is set to launch an open-source platform for artificial intelligence agents called ‘NemoClaw,’ according to a recent report by Wired. The company aims to capitalize on the growing demand for AI tools that can perform specific tasks.

Sources familiar with Nvidia’s plans indicate that the company has already started discussing this new product with major enterprise software firms. Nvidia is reportedly seeking partnerships with companies like Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike. Neither Nvidia nor the potential partners have publicly commented on these discussions yet.

The report suggests that official partnerships may not be finalized, but because ‘NemoClaw’ will be an open-source platform, partners would likely get to use it for free. In return, these early partners would contribute to the project’s development.

This new platform will allow businesses to deploy AI agents that can carry out tasks for their employees. It will also include essential security and privacy features. Notably, companies can access ‘NemoClaw’ regardless of whether their systems use Nvidia’s chips, making it broadly accessible.

Nvidia is increasing its investment in AI agents as the industry shifts. Companies are moving beyond general large language models to more specialized AI tools that can reason, plan, and complete complex, multi-step tasks on their own.

In recent months, Nvidia has already released foundational models like Nemotron and Cosmos, specifically designed to power AI agents. They have also expanded their ‘NeMo’ platform, which helps customers manage the entire lifecycle of an AI agent, from setting it up to monitoring and improving it.

Nvidia’s interest in agents also comes as “claws”—open-source AI tools that run on a user’s computer to perform sequential tasks—gain popularity. OpenClaw, originally known as Clawdbot and then Moltbot, became famous earlier this year, eventually leading to its acquisition by OpenAI and the hiring of its creator. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has even called OpenClaw “the most important software release probably ever.”

However, experts have raised concerns about the security risks associated with these new AI tools, especially for large businesses. This is particularly relevant as Nvidia targets enterprise customers with its ‘NemoClaw’ platform. This announcement comes just before Nvidia’s annual developer conference in San Jose, where the company is expected to share updates on its hardware and software plans.
