Nexa.ai has introduced a new tool called “Hyperlink” that changes how people search with AI. This new agent runs completely on your own computer, not on remote servers. It’s built for Nvidia RTX AI PCs and works as an assistant right on your device, turning your personal files into useful insights. This means your computer handles all the searching, making it faster and much more private because your information never leaves your machine.

Nvidia explained that Hyperlink processes everything locally. This design choice boosts both speed and privacy. Testing on an RTX 5090 system showed that Hyperlink indexes data up to three times faster and that large language model tasks run twice as quickly compared to older versions. These impressive numbers mean the tool can scan and organize thousands of files on your computer much more efficiently than many existing AI programs. It doesn’t just look for keywords; it understands what you mean. By using the smart reasoning of large language models on your local files, it can find important information even when file names are unclear or don’t match the content.

This shift from simple keyword searches to understanding context fits well with how generative AI is becoming part of our daily work. Hyperlinks can connect related ideas across documents, giving you clear, organized answers with easy-to-follow references. What sets it apart from most cloud-based AI assistants is that Hyperlink keeps all your data on your device. Whether it’s PDFs, presentations, or images, everything stays private on your computer, so no personal or secret information ever leaves.

This local approach is great for people who deal with sensitive data but still want the benefits of fast AI. Users get quick, relevant answers without the worry of their data being exposed, which can happen with remote storage or processing. Nvidia has also fine-tuned Hyperlink for RTX hardware beyond search. The company says its retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) feature now indexes large data folders 3 times faster. For example, a 1GB collection that used to take about 15 minutes to process now finishes in just about 5 minutes. The faster processing also means you get answers more quickly, making tasks like preparing for meetings, studying, or analyzing reports much smoother. Hyperlink combines ease of use with strong data control, making it a valuable AI tool for anyone who wants to keep their data private and secure.
