A major international event focused on artificial intelligence (AI) began today in Seoul. This summit and expo showcase the newest ideas and tech in the AI world, as announced by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
KITA teamed up with DMK Global, a tech content publisher, to host the AI Summit Seoul & Expo 2025. It will run for two days at Seoul’s COEX convention center. More than 70 companies from the technology and AI sectors are joining, including well-known names like Google Cloud, IBM, and KT.
Important figures from around the globe will share their thoughts on where the AI industry stands now and where it’s headed. These leaders include Wen Sang, who helped found the AI agent company Genspark, and Luc Julia, the Renault Group’s chief scientific officer. They will give attendees a look into the future of AI.
Companies attending the event also have a special chance to meet with about 50 buyers. This “business connection session” will happen throughout both days of the expo, helping businesses make new connections and explore opportunities.
KITA explained that the event aims to help AI technology grow and find more uses. They see AI as a crucial industry for the country. “We will work hard to make this event a leading global business platform that drives the growth of the AI industry,” KITA added. This summit is a clear sign of South Korea’s commitment to being a major player in the global AI landscape, bringing together experts and innovators to shape the future.
