Samsung Display announced it will debut a groundbreaking digital cockpit solution at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, further solidifying its position in the automotive OLED market. The company will showcase its advanced technology from September 5th to 10th, highlighting a suite of innovative features designed to enhance both safety and driver convenience.
A key highlight is the introduction of a unique “moving cluster display,” a retractable dashboard that seamlessly integrates essential driving information while optimizing interior space. When the vehicle is parked, this OLED display retracts, transforming the cabin’s aesthetic. Samsung emphasizes the display’s space-saving design and its contribution to improved interior aesthetics.
The innovative digital cockpit also boasts a 14.4-inch L-shaped display positioned between the driver and passenger. Leveraging the flexibility and curvable nature of OLED technology, this display allows intuitive control of various vehicle settings, including climate control. This design is a prime example of how Samsung utilizes OLED technology to enhance the user experience.
Simultaneously, Samsung Display is launching its new DRIVE brand for automotive OLED products. DRIVE represents the company’s commitment to design differentiation, robust reliability, intelligent safety, visual excellence, and expandable features. This branding reflects Samsung’s strategic investment in the automotive sector as a core area of future growth.
Lee Joo-hyung, head of Samsung Display’s mobile display business, stated that the company aims to engage with global automotive clients at IAA Mobility 2025 to showcase the stability and unique value proposition of Samsung’s OLED solutions under the new DRIVE brand.
