OnePlus is gearing up for a major summer product drop, officially announcing five new mid-range devices that will hit the market in July. In an exclusive interview, a company executive pulled back the curtain on the new lineup, which includes the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 smartphones, the OnePlus Buds 4, the OnePlus Pad Lite, and a smaller OnePlus Watch 3.
The main event is the OnePlus Nord 5, a phone the company calls a “double-punch” for its powerful camera and chipset. While keeping the camera details under wraps, OnePlus confirmed the phone will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, an unusually high-end processor for a mid-range device. It will also feature an advanced liquid cooling system to ensure smooth operation during intense tasks, such as gaming.
One of the biggest changes is the introduction of the “Plus Key,” which replaces the brand’s classic alert slider. This new customizable button can be programmed to launch the camera, a translator, or other functions. It also features a new AI capability called “Plus Mind,” which analyzes on-screen content to save information or add events directly to your calendar.
Beyond the phones, OnePlus is expanding its ecosystem of connected devices. The OnePlus Watch 3 43mm features the flagship model’s capabilities in a compact design, ideal for those with smaller wrists. The OnePlus Buds 4 will deliver high-quality sound and low latency for an immersive gaming experience. At the same time, the OnePlus Pad Lite is designed to be an affordable tablet that connects seamlessly with other OnePlus products.
All five of these new gadgets are set to launch in Europe on July 8, reinforcing the company’s strategy to offer both premium flagships and more accessible devices for a wider audience.
