Form is launching a new version of its popular smart swim goggles, designed to be tougher for swimmers who brave the open water. The new Smart Swim 2 Pro is a modest but important upgrade, focusing on durability and solving some common swimmer frustrations.

The biggest change is the lenses, which are now made from Gorilla Glass 3. While this adds a tiny bit of weight, it makes the goggles much more scratch-resistant. This is a big plus for swimmers in lakes and oceans, where goggles can take a beating from the elements.

Form also tackled a common problem for all swimmers: foggy lenses. Instead of a built-in coating that eventually wears off (especially if you wipe the inside), the 2 Pro comes with a special anti-fog spray. The company is refreshingly honest about the spray—it’s just diluted baby shampoo. They’ve even included markings on the bottle to help you mix your refills, so you don’t have to buy more from them.

Alongside the new hardware, Form is updating its software for premium subscribers. They will get more data-driven training plans and personalized tips to help improve their technique. The form states that these premium features are effective, with subscribers experiencing a 1.4 times faster speed improvement compared to those using the goggles alone.
