The new "Superhuman" logo is prominently displayed, with smaller icons representing writing, email, and meeting scheduling tools arranged around it, symbolizing the integration of various AI-powered productivity features.

Grammarly, the popular AI writing helper since 2009, is changing its name to Superhuman. This move comes after Grammarly acquired Superhuman Mail earlier this year. Instead of keeping the Grammarly name, the company chose to adopt the new acquisition’s name, which is unusual.

Superhuman brings together Grammarly, Superhuman Mail, and another AI tool called Coda (which Grammarly also bought in 2025). Now, all these tools are part of one big productivity package. Users can access all of them with a single plan. The company also launched a brand-new AI assistant called Superhuman Go. Every Superhuman plan includes Superhuman Go, and it’s even built into the Grammarly browser extension for Chrome and Edge.

Superhuman Go helps users with several tasks. It can write professional-sounding email replies, find information, and set up meetings. Right now, it works with Google Workspace apps and Microsoft Outlook. The idea is that this AI assistant quietly offers suggestions in the background, so you don’t always have to ask it for help.

Superhuman plans to add even more features to Coda and Superhuman Mail. For example, it will help turn meeting ideas into written drafts and organize your inbox better based on your schedule. The company’s goal with this new name and setup is to get people to see it as more than just a writing tool. They want users to take advantage of all its different tools and platforms to get more work done.

Anyone who used Grammarly before can now access Superhuman Go. The new Superhuman tools come in different plans. The “Pro” plan costs $12 per month (if you pay for a whole year) and lets you rewrite paragraphs and translate text into 19 languages without limits – a feature Grammarly added earlier this year. The “Business” plan costs $33 per month (billed annually) and includes Superhuman’s mail client.
